The West Virginian GOP displayed a poster in the state Capitol implying that Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar was a terrorist Friday.
The poster shows the World Trade Center in flames on 9/11 with the caption “‘NEVER FORGET’ — YOU SAID…” with a photo of Omar underneath it. The second half of the caption reads, “I AM THE PROOF – YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN.”
The House’s sergeant-at-arms, Anne Lieberman, allegedly made a racist comment about Muslims during the confrontation over the poster. Despite her denial, Lieberman announced her resignation hours later, according to NBC News.

She IS an enemy combatant - and we should defend the country and constitution against ALL enemies - foreign and domestic!

Fanatics from her religion were responsible for 9/11. IIRC she has never decried or disavowed them or their actions.
She is reputedly a bigamist, with her brother, to break immigration law.
She has made a number of public anti-Semitic comments since being sworn in as a congressperson. That's not against the law but frames her mindset accurately.
And she's a Democrat.
So the folks in WV were accurate, even though she didn't hijack any planes personally on 9/11.
