Former Vice President Joe Biden was shamed Thursday evening by LGBT activists for merely calling Vice President Mike Pence a "decent guy" during a speech in Omaha, Nebraska. In cowardly fashion, Biden — who's a top contender to be the Democrats' 2020 Trump-challenger, though he's yet to officially throw his hat in the ring — walked back the utterly mild compliment.
"Sex and the City" actress and former New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon was one of the high-profile leftists who lashed out at Biden for the remark.
"[Joe Biden] you’ve just called America’s most anti-LGBT elected leader 'a decent guy,'" she posted in a tweet. "Please consider how this falls on the ears of our community."
Biden quickly walked back the remark in a reply to Nixon.
