State Police Conducting Death Investigation-Laurel, DEl


Laurel- The Delaware State Police are currently conducting a death investigation after a body was found deceased on the side of the roadway.

The investigation began on March 9, 2019 at approximately 7:24 a.m., when Troopers were dispatched to S. Shell Bridge Road in the area of Broad Creek Estates for a victim that was found deceased on the side of the roadway.

The victim has been turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. The adult victim’s identity is unknown at this time.

The investigation is in it’s early stages with further information being released as it becomes available.

I live about a quarter of a mile from where the body was found.

The rumor is the body was female. It was beheaded and disemboweled.

Gangland? Serial killer?
