Jake Day should give some serious consideration to the fact that West Main Street in Salisbury is a total disgrace. It is so full of pot holes and bumps that it nearly tears your car up. It;s like driving an obsticle course. He keeps wasting money trying to make downtown Main Street pretty, which is akin to beating a dead horse, while west main street gets no attention at all. It just keeps getting worse. Could this be because it is on the "wrong side of the tracks" to deserve any attention? Don't the people who live on west main street and Fitzwater St. deserve the same decent streets that "the pretty people" live? I think they do and they need to speak up.
