On my commute home while in Dorchester County near Salem, I heard such a loud b-boom that it shook the car and I wondered for a second if I should pull over and check the tires.
Mardela HUGE BOOM I thought I farted.
I heard it in Selbyville. It wasn't loud but I still heard it clearly.

Did you catch that exchange between Judge Kavanaugh and democrat whitehouse yesterday? whitehouse thought he had a gotcha moment when questioning the Judge about the phrase "have you boofed yet?" written in or by the Judge in a 1983 yearbook. The Judge shut him right down when he replied "that refers to flatulence" and if the senator wants to talk about flatulence on a 16 yrs old year book he is game.

I heard it while in Target. Sounded like more than rifles. I won't say it shook the building but you certainly could feel it.
Heard it in Parsonsburg. Sounded close, nothing like a normal sonic boom that I have experienced before. It shook my house. We all ran outside. It sounded like an explosion, but it vibrated after.

A few years back I heard and felt a large boom while in Fruitland. I called police to see what was going and was told they didn't know but the windows at the station rattled. What is going on.

2 days ago a fighter jet came over my house in East Salisbury. It was not moving fast but was flying no more than 200 ft off the ground!
The police shooting range is along the railroad tracks & can be heard from businesses along 13,like Pohanka,Sherwood,etc.

Sounds like people have ear witnessed two distinctly different events. The first, multiple bangs. The second, a sonic boom.

I'm in Delmar Maryland and was on the phone with my.sister who lives in Scottsdale on whitesville road... We both heard it it shook my house she was outside and she said it felt like the ground shook. It definitely wasn't a rifle I thought it may have been a gas explosion or something like that.. "back in the day" we heard these often...it was the sound barrier being broken...nothing more.
Heard it loud & clear in Mardela Springs. It sounded no different than when they are training/exercises out of Dover. They usually fly above the clouds.

There were some military jets flying low and loud around then. I wonder if some young jet jockeys were feeling like putting it in overdrive.
