People, you need to understand that, with the exception of maybe 4 or five colleges- the university system is dead. You will not receive a rich full education in the works of Western Civilization that will make you a valuable asset to whatever job or community you join- instead, you will receive, at best, third rate vocational training. You will be in debt forever. The diploma they give you is meaningless.
Again, with very few exceptions, ALL colleges and universities are no more than left wing indoctrination factories. That's it. Which wouldn't be so bad if they actually TAUGHT anything at the same time. They do not. Go find a college kid. Ask him who Plato is. Ask him to name more than one classical music composer. Ask him to explain what the Articles of Confederation did not last- they cant. But ask him to name ten examples of white privilege......
To be fair, if you can afford to go to SU, you do have a fair amount of white privilege.

I am loathe to accept it, but certainly being white and especially male offers up advantages. It doesn't mean I didn't have to work hard, or that my maleness or my whiteness earned what I had to work for... but don't kid yourself, it certainly helps give an advantage.
Just as growing up in a wealthier neighborhood with better schools and better contacts and opportunities.
I don't like the terminology of "privilege"...but to not recognize the advantage is to purposely close your eyes to it.
All else equal, and generically speaking my chances of getting a job are more likely than if an equally qualified minority with a less than conventional name applied.
I never think on my "whiteness", yet I have black friends who I know have to consider their blackness all the time.
I can tell you first hand that I have seen discrimination at more than one place of employment.
To scoff at the concept of White Privilege is a mistake, I think.
White "privilege" can be attained by anyone of any color.
Work. Don't steal. Marry the woman who mothered your children. Obey the law. Don't condone or associate with people who DON'T do those things.
Or you can keep fulfilling stereotypes and blame your problems on everyone else.
Or, as someone else asked recently, why don't Asian people complain about "white privilege"?

So, if you are a member of a majority race in any country, are you supposed to feel guilty? I wish I was back at Salisbury U.. I would sign up for the class and would call out the professors publicly. I would get some publicity and backing from others that agree. I was a 30 year old freshman when I went to Salisbury U., and I didn't allow professors to take advantage of their position by espousing personal liberal views. I challenged them every time. I was not as easy to brainwash as my much younger peers. As to those who think that might have harmed my grades, I graduated with a 3.6 GPA, which placed me in the top 3% of my major (Business). Needles to say, all the professors knew my name (and many agreed with MY conservative views).

What, no college degree (or "white privilege)? The university system is cheaper than any private college in Maryland. The ones that go there can't afford the elite private schools. The University system, with all the minority grants and scholarships, is the most diverse student body of all the colleges in Maryland. You know not of what you speak. White privilege, if it exists, doesn't exist at the Universities. Quite the opposite is the case; hence, the white privilege class. Won't see that crap at private schools, just in the university system.
Likely, most people do WANT to drop, but it's a required class for several majors. This type of class is just the tip of the iceberg as far as the indoctrination that many colleges, such as SU, take part in. Then you are forced to pay and take it, but if you have a different point of view, take heed. You'll either be forced to quiet yourself or made fun of for 12 weeks.
Though I don't like the curriculum let's look at what's going on just in Salisbury today. It's still the good old white boy system making each other wealthy. They suck the less fortunate in with this so called folk festival all the while preaching equality to all. This is again painting rainbows at the front door while their emptying the vault on the rear
