New Jersey and Gun Control

The gun control conundrum will continue ad infinitum. But what is happening in New Jersey should frighten anyone -- gun owner or not. NJS102 will most likely be affirmed by the Democrat senate majority in the NJ legislature. The NJ Assembly has already passed the following:
A1217, which would create restraining orders in the state allowing family members and others to ask a judge to have a person's guns seized and ban them from buying weapons for up to a year.
A2757, which would require all private gun sales in the state to go through a licensed dealer who can perform an additional background check at the point of sale.
A2759, which would create an outright ban in the state on possessing armor-piercing bullets.
A2761, which would ban magazines in the state that hold more than 10 rounds, with some exceptions.

How will this affect gun owners? The proposed legislation states that

No person shall be convicted of an offense… for possessing any firearms, weapons, destructive devices, large capacity ammunition magazines, silencers or explosives, if after giving written notice of his intention to do so, including the proposed date and time of surrender, he voluntarily surrendered [emphasis mine] the weapon, device, instrument or substance in question to the superintendent or to the chief of police in the municipality in which he resides, provided that the required notice is received by the superintendent or chief of police before any charges have been made or complaints filed [.]

Furthermore, a firearm with a fixed magazine capacity holding up to 15 rounds which is incapable of being modified to accommodate 10 or less rounds is to be registered. If not, the firearms owner "must complete a registration statement to be prescribed by the Superintendent of the State Police, and produce for inspection a valid firearms purchaser identification card, permit to carry a handgun, or permit to purchase a handgun."

Moreover, "the heir or estate of an owner of a firearm which has been registered pursuant to this section shall within 90 days after the owner's death dispose of that firearm in accordance to the sections of the proposed law.”

Dave T: This is what liberal control leads to. Allow yourselves to be ruled by this kind of mentality, and you will be herded like sheep. Outright ridiculous. Any laws passed which are repugnant to the constitution, are null and void. These certainly fit that clause. In liberty!

Noooo, they are not coming for your guns, not at all!!!! You people are so stupid to think they are NOT coming for your guns... When states like Michigan who out right try to ban ownership of guns and if you don't turn them in or destroy them, you get fined and put in jail!!!! Sounds really familiar, sounds like to me they are coming for guns...

Remember this is all for the children, to keep them safe because every school shooting the criminal had armor piercing ammo right? as a side note, you can't buy that kind of ammo anywhere any more and the sale of it has been banned due to federal laws, but yes lets pass more laws banning something that is already banned... And you people don't see the lunacy in that.... Just like with background checks, oh well we need more background checks because the background checks don't stop shootings... What sense does that make???

Or like here in Maryland, where you have to get finger printed, and do a background check in order to get a license to buy a hand gun, at which the time of sale you still have to do a background check, so what sense does that make???? The point is to take money from you, make it harder for you and make you jump through hoops to get a gun so that you are deterred from buying one because of all of the hoop-la you have to do...

Every where you go, you have to do a background check at the time of sale for all guns, yet the clowns in the political field will have you believe that is not the case and that they need more background checks to stop shootings... If background checks don't stop shootings, because every gun has been bought legally so far in every school shootings, then why say we need more background checks???

You people are just plain dumb, leading with emotion instead of rationale thinking... You hear the words, its for the kids, and you get all fuzzy inside and you would give up your own child for the sake of the term it is for the kids... But what do you expect when you people allow them to do it, help them do it and even fight with them to do it???? That is why you have no security, or freedoms...

The globalist agenda for gun control is an absolute necessity in the minds of the elites who will eventually rule over all of us. The guns simply must be taken from the people. It must happen prior to allowing the fiat currencies to collapse.

Once they began to print endless amounts of fiat currency (debt creation) it became necessary eventually to collapse those currencies either one at a time or all at once. A new Order will be created out of the Chaos.

Again, this is part of the globalists agenda (Communism) and has been in the works for a long long time. The NRA is part of the agenda - as they have continuously allowed for the watering down of the 2nd Amendment.

I want to encourage people to STOP using the media's language. These people are not "liberals". It is not a "liberal agenda". It is Communism as it stemmed from the 19th Century Academic works of Karl Marx and Frederick Engels. Freemasonry (high levels) and Zionism are part of the Communist hierarchy.

Order out of Chaos.

It is also a felony to simply possess any hollow point ammo in NJ.

Dave T: Good points raised here and I'm glad to see it. Never give up your freedom in lieu of security or you will receive neither. Those are not my words, they come from our founding fathers who knew best about the fight for liberty and the need to preserve it. We must fight to protect our constitution any cost !
