Delta Endangers Tax Break After Cutting Ties to NRA

The decision by Delta Air Lines, Inc. to cut co-branding ties with the National Rifle Association has endangered the company's efforts to steer legislation through the Georgia General Assembly that exempts jet fuel from the state's sales tax.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported that the tax-credit was in jeopardy after Delta, which is headquartered in Atlanta, announced on Saturday that it would end its co-marketing partnership with the NRA. Delta's decision came after facing outside pressure from gun-control advocates who blame the Second Amendment group for the tragic school shooting that took place in Parkland, Florida earlier this month. Similar decisions were announced by an array of companies like Enterprise Holdings, the parent company of Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and MetLife, Inc., one of the country's largest insurance providers.

Dave T: Thank you Delta for helping to know what airline not to pick when I fly. If you can't support freedom, then I can't support you. That simple. "Those who are willing to forfeit their freedom for a little security, deserve to have neither one." -- Benjamin Franklin

Its breath taking to see just how infiltrated this Country has become with communist progressives. I admit some are just brainwashed and feel their just rooting for their team, but the truth is these people, groups and companies are being paid by soros to assist in the destruction and take over of the USA.

The fuel tax break had expired and was set to be reinstated today. State representatives voted to NOT reinstate it. Take that Delta. People don't join the NRA for any type of discounts and NRA members don't need Delta but Delta needs them.

$40,000,000 is nothing to sneeze at.

103 if you want to quote BF, aim the quotes at the GA state government. They are the ones making special tax policies based on whether or not Delta will provide NRA with special perks. Talk about conservative hypocrisy. Lol

The NRA is not to blame for deaths. More like liberal Hollywood movies, games and music full of violence, sex, and anti-American garbage, along with few two-parent family homes teaching their children what real life is all about is what's causing so much death and destruction here. Oh, and the Russians!

Yeah lets start basing tax policy on whether a company supports your political platform

I salute Delta for having the courage to stop supporting the NRA who is a divisive special interest group and will not engage in anything to stop or at least slow down the slaughter
