When police arrived, they found that an elderly man also had been stabbed, Boston's Fox 25 reported.
"There were three to four police cars here, there was an ambulance and there was a woman taken out," Russ Ganz, a Winchester resident, told the station.
The suspect -- identified as Jeffrey Yao, 23 -- allegedly approached the 22-year-old woman from behind as she was seated at a table in the reading room of Winchester Public Library, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said.
The blade was said to be 10 inches long and the suspect reportedly stabbed the woman multiple times.

Danged knifes. We need knife control; especially the AR Knives. 15 serrations per knife is way too many. These things are made just to kill people. And butter knives are no better. We need knife confiscation in these United States. We need more knife free zones. The NKA (National Knife Association) is behind it all - ban their sponsors immediatly. And one more thing ... these knife killings are all President Trumps fault :)

Assault knives should be banned , very dangerous. The man who did the stabbing is not guilty , it's the damn knife.
A ten inch blade? That's over three times the length of a legal blade.
Well all know how knives kill and injury, they do it to sait their lust for blood. Oh they may look innocent, but we all know that when we are not looking they attack and cut us! They make your finger bleed, take a chunk out of your hand, or stab you. I don't know how many times I have been cut in the kitchen by knives, we need laws to protect us from them!
I got cut yesterday by a knife from Russia, I want a full scale investigation into these Russian Knives!
