But some of her fans and critics were infuriated by the photo and a video showing her letting Sanders and Trump wear her silver medal.
Gibbs responded to some of the haters, trying to explain why she let people wear her medal.
“I mean I have let many people try it on!” she wrote. “It’s a frickin Olympic medal and most people will never know what it is like to earn one, wear one or even touch one! It is meant to be shared.”

Perfect example of why the "Left" is all about tearing this country apart.

These are the same people that drive around with coexist bumper stickers on their cars yet react so stupidly to something like this. A proud moment for an Olympic athlete sharing her excitement, only to be turned into something ugly from the left. They are showing their true colors. They are anti-American!

The left just cannot move on! This is how the majority act and I am afraid we are not turning back. I am trying not to act like these leftist, but not sure I can keeping taking the high road.
Until we ALL can get along and compromise that we have different ideals and beliefs - nothing will change. That includes CONgress too! They are the biggest embarrassment and have the ability to so the way - but choose not to.
