Heather Renee Hall charged in the death of Jeffrey Gordon Pierce, troopers say
SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — An Inman woman has been charged in a crash that killed a Spartanburg County teacher, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Heather Renee Hall, 31, was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center on Sunday for a charge of reckless vehicular homicide, records show.
he crash happened on about 8:30 a.m. July 11, 2017 on New Cut Road.
A report from the South Carolina Highway Patrol said Hall was driving 62 mph in a 45 mph zone. It said a witness reported seeing Hall using her phone while driving.
