Call Your Senators Immediately

The House of Delegates just voted to prohibit colleges and universities from asking about a student’s prior criminal history on an admissions application. This bill puts our students at risk and it has to be stopped. Luckily, this fight is not over; the Senate still has a chance to fix this and do the right thing. Their vote is tomorrow. Call these senators and let them know that you support keeping our campuses safe and they better as well.

Why?

You don't ask illegal aliens about their history, do you?

How are people who have criminal histories supposed to straighten their lives out if you won't let them near your precious snowflakes to get an education?

Of course, they're all around you here anyway.. just look at the crime rate.

And oddly enough, a lot of them are the illegal aliens that you've welcomed with open arms.

What hypocrisy..

Democrats for destroying America at work.

5:53 How do you know if a person is illegal or not? Brown skin and speak spanish? Slanty eyes and speak chinese?

Why ask them to disclose their criminal history? Nearly every job I ever applied for required a criminal background check.

Great. Liberal colleges want more illegals and criminals and less police. Let them have it. Unfortunately they will continue voting Democrat even after they are murdered.

Asking and being informed about criminal history is just common sense. It doesn't necessarily drive the admission decision but it part of the documented behavior pattern of the applicant.

Convictions obviously weigh more heavily than charges that result in innocent verdicts or other sanctions. Our courts are lenient in many respects, so assault, DUI, CDS records may show a lesser charge or plea bargain when the actual circumstances were actually more serious.

Would you want your daughter in the same dorm as a convicted rapist? Your son in the same dorm as a convicted drug dealer? Etc.

Agree that's why you should ask yes?

Actual law abiding citizens now take a back seat to illegals and criminals.

The current clique of politicians have no moral compass and aren't even ashamed to admit it or show their faces in public.
