Boy aged 12 dies of the flu in Florida

A 12-year-old boy has suddenly died of the flu just two days after falling ill with mild symptoms.

Dylan Winnik was sick for two days with what his parents thought was a cold.

But on Tuesday, deputies arrived at his father's home in West Palm Beach, Florida, to find the seventh grader had already passed away.

Dylan is the first reported flu death in Palm Beach County this year, making him one of more than 30 children that have been killed by the flu this season.
