Didn't you see the briefing? They are warning citizens to lock their sheds, vehicles and have crime prevention measure height of shrubbery along with the operation of window locks.

Try me I will shoot the SOB, since SPD, wimpy keystone cops running from their job, does very little about crime then I will have to protect me and my family. Salisbury is allowing the thugs to get away with everything until We come along and give the crooks what they are asking for. Then again what is Hogan doing in the State of MD? Nothing.
The police can't be everywhere. The city can't afford to put a cop on every block. The problem is the way people raise their children and the lack of real punishment for breaking the law. Judges need to start handing out more harsh punishment for crimes and maybe just maybe people will think twice about their actions.

Cops are too busy hiding to catch speeders than to tackle crap like this. Now, if the guy happens to speed after carjacking her vehicle there might be a chance of capturing him
If the street cops know that nobody will back them up, why would they bother to arrest people? What is the point? So they can do a bunch of paperwork for nothing?

The cops in this town are forced to focus on revenue generation instead of real police work because we have an out of control local spending problem in Wicomico and have to make it up anyway we can. This is horrible but I am glad to know what is happening. It helps to keep me alert. I was at that intersection just this afternoon. You cant even go to the doctor without worrying about being carjacked.
I always lock my car doors usually before I put on seat belt

When you have a chief and her immediate staff that wont back you and you know that you will be disciplined or reprimanded for smallest things unrelated to criminal activity, how can we go out and be "proactive". Trust me we want to be proactive and not reactive, but Jake has an election to win and she has to cater to his voting district. We all know which voting district he needs to win again. And to think the local FOP won't step in and pressure Jake to get rid of her before an officer gets hurt. Remember your promise Jake to law enforcement? Obviously you forgot what you promised us......

Was only a matter of time before the migration of thugs, drugs and scumbags came here en-mass to roost. A college town close to major metropolitan areas with lots of section 8 housing is low hanging fruit. They are like a cancer that has metastasized.
