...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 11 PM EDT
THIS EVENING...
The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM this morning to 11 PM EDT
this evening. The High Wind Watch is no longer in effect.

* AREAS AFFECTED: Virginia Eastern Shore and portions of the
Maryland Lower Eastern Shore.

* HAZARDS: Strong wind gusts up to 50 mph.

* WINDS: East to northeast winds...becoming northeast to north
late this afternoon into this evening. Sustained winds of 25 to
35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* TIMING: This morning through late this evening.

* IMPACTS: Strong wind gusts will likely down trees and
powerlines, and may cause minor structural damage.

Instructions:    A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

We have the WORST weather reporting on TV in this area! WBOC & WMDT don't have a clue they run about 50% accuracy on their forcasts.
