Me, Me, Me, Me, Me, Me.
We lived in the country so didn't have a "street" but my three brothers and I rode our bikes with wild abandon on the highway to town and even hitchhiked (without fear) to the county fair and other places.
Yes, and my swimming pool was when the men came around to open the fire hydrants.
In today's society if you even let your kid play outside you will get in trouble for endangering the kid!!!!!
The Best times as a kid where the streets of Brooklyn,New York.Stick ball was the big game!!!!!!!!!!
curb ball in the city
in the street, moved out of the way for buses, then continued under the streetlight until midnight! Woke up at 6am to start it all over again!Automation has made the nation...the world LAZY!
Yep, played in the streets all the time - Mom just said, watch out for the cars.
