Why is it that the counties in MD that have the largest republican voting base are also among the poorest counties in MD? Everyone idolizes Reagan but how many of you could buy a home in the 80's with interest rates between 15% and 9%? His war on drugs put a lot of people in prison for pot/weed. Many states have decriminalized or legalized pot but federal law has not changed. Trump, Pence and Sessions (if Sessions keeps AG spot) are staunch anti-pot and have said they intend to enforce federal law.
