Good News in the War Against Islam

More than 80 men and women from Iran and Afghanistan converted to Christianity Thursday during a mass baptism in Hamburg, Germany.

Albert Babajan, the pastor who carried out the ceremony, has converted 196 Muslims in 2016. He expects the number to grow to 500 by the end of the year, and says the most common reason is disappointment in Islam.

“The motive for the change of faith is the same for many: they are disappointed with Islam,” Babajan told German magazine Stern.

One refugees said Christianity has liberated him from living in a constant fear of sinning. Iranian girl Shima said she’s been looking for happiness her entire life, and finally found it under the Christian faith.

I hope that they're all sincere, and that there's not a mole among them.

No religion at all would be the good news

Right 1031. Just ask anyone who lived in the former Soviet Union. Oh and then there was Pol Pot (Google it). He would agree with you! Prince of a guy.

People are often dissatisfied and changing religions and denominations within religions. When their dissatisfaction is the highest that is the time to knock on their hearts' door so to speak. It is good to be part of a group that helps each other.

I prefer not to be part of a religion myself. I can't abide it. Unfortunately I am not a member of the fire department either. Churches and fire departments are the two greatest social organizations in any community. My family will be on their own to dispose of my body and celebrate my life one day.

10:31 Some people do need religion. Without it they don't know how to be nice. Just look at Donald Trump. Of course, with it they don't always know how to be nice either just look at Ted Cruz.

The Christian faith won't do you any good.

Seek Jesus Christ.

while it's a start, 80 is nothing in the scheme of things.

349 I know the point you are trying to make. But aren't you splitting hairs? Most people who seek and follow Jesus Christ consider themselves adherents to CHRISTian faith - as in faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Nothing wrong with that. Don't forget the Pharisees loved word games and gotchas. Don't fall in that trap.
