Another false victimization from the religious zealots. No one is being told to hide their religion on college campuses; no university staff member would dare do that out of the fear of being fired or getting sued into oblivion. A religious sports star being scrutinized for his beliefs; part of the burden of being a public figure.

Did prayer stop children from being molested by Catholic priests; did prayer prevent those in power at Catholic institutions from covering up incidents of sex abuse.

What the catholic church is truly upset over is the fact that their numbers are down while atheism is on the rise.

It seems that a lot of religious people want teacher-led prayer which is fascism at the very least and condescending to others who don't partake in that particular theistic deviation.

Also in response to this video:

Matthew 6:5-6

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you
