Human Trafficking: In A Neighborhood Near You

The Eastern Shore Human Trafficking Task Force, the Governor's Office of Crime Control and Prevention, City of Salisbury, and Aglow Intl'. will sponsor a one-day conference on human trafficking. This FREE conference will take place on January 30th, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in room 153 of the Teacher Education and Technology building at Salisbury University. Lunch will be provided.

Salisbury has a Human Trafficking Task Force but no Bomb-detecting K9? Interesting. It never ceases to amaze me how many priorities are askew.

While Human Trafficking is definitely on the Top 20 no-nos in our culture, I would think being barbecued would rank a bit higher, warranting more dollars spent in that direction.

Ignorance is hardly bliss in light of the recent events.
