I didn't. Starting at around 3pm during dinner prep, I thought I would pour myself a glass of wine, but never did. Maybe this evening.

Nope, lately, alcohol has been giving me headaches. What's up with that?

No way! This is a religious holiday of giving thanks to the lord our God for another bountiful year of life. Drunks need to burn in Hell!

Anonymous said...

Not all of it, but I'll work on that today.

I made a total a$$ of myself and fell into the dinner table, breaking one of the legs off and dumping the food to the floor. Wife says this is it, she wants divorce.

Yep. Made my bourbon and brown sugar ham, and enjoyed some of the sacrament. And yes, bourbon counts as the sacrament. Had a couple beers as well.

Yes. I had the most expensive wine that I have ever bought. A Bordeaux. It was great! I hope it didn't spoil me...

At 75 I'm dizzy enough so why make it worse?

Anonymous said...

Who said we can't drink on religious holidays?

Anonymous said...

Thank, you, God, for fermentation and its delicious products.

Anonymous said...

No, didn't do any drinking, but then I don't usually anyway. Had plenty to eat though.

Even Jesus drank a little wine.

11:08...Ever hear this before>

Likewise after supper, he took the cup and when he had given thanks he said, "drink ye all of this. For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for you and many, for the remission of sins. Do this as oft as ye shall drink it, in remembrance of me.

No, we just passed a rattlesnake around the room knowing we were protected by the good book and man above!

Anonymous said...

Oh hell yes

Don't waste your breath. Blind faith has a way of reducing the IQ into negative numbers.

Anonymous said...

LOL. Now that's funny!

Anonymous said...

Can I get an Amen?

Anonymous said...

The wine Jesus drank was not fermented. Do your research folks.

Anonymous said...

8:58. Really? Where'd you hear that?

Anonymous said...

11:38, I know that's you Jim.

Anonymous said...
