Morris: Recovering From Debate Will Be 'Very Hard' for Jeb

Jeb Bush will have a "very hard" time recovering from his poor showing in Wednesday's Republican debate, but that's not a reason to drop out of the race just yet, political analyst Dick Morris told Newsmax TV on Thursday.

"What you've seen is what you're going to get," Morris told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth. "That is Jeb Bush that you saw on the debate last night and the other two nights.

"I don't think he can change."

Morris added: "The hardest thing to do is to regain lost ground because there are voters who were once voting for you, got turned off, and switched to somebody else — and to get them to switch back now is a very hard thing to do and I'm not sure he can."

Common Core and Amnesty was your downfall. Mr. Bush, you said you would NOT change your mind on these issues; you would try to change ours. Well that didn't work. We were already wise to these issues; hence you were wrong and you have failed. Time to wrap it up and go home...
