Adams County rancher shot and killed by deputies

COUNCIL, Idaho -- Idaho State Police are investigating after a Council rancher was shot and killed Sunday by deputies with the Adams County Sheriff's Office.

The incident began when a Subaru station wagon crashed into a bull on US 95 north of Council at about 6:45 p.m. Emergency responders and Adams County deputies responded and were working to extricate the two people inside the car. Adams County Sheriff Ryan Zollman said the bull, which was injured in the collision, started charging at emergency responders and other vehicles.

"The bull was very agitated and was aggressive to emergency services, as well as the other cars coming up and down the highway," he said.

Deputies were getting ready to put the animal down when the bull's owner, 62-year-old Jack Yantis, arrived on the scene with a rifle. Zollman said dispatchers had called Yantis after the crash, telling him that the bull that was hit appeared to be his, and was down on the highway near his house.

What happened next is still under investigation, but Zollman said there was an altercation and Yantis and both deputies all fired their weapons.

Man showed up to kill his bull. Put it out of misery. The super troopers see it and draw down telling him to drop it. The man is like hub,? Wtf. Why? I'm allowed to carry a weapon and the super storm troopers killed him.

"GUN!!!" (say it with as much fear in your voice as possible)

Stop killing everything that moves or scares you.
The Gestapo would rather kill an innocent person than take a moment to see if murder is the only option. Reach for your wallet? 40 rounds into the center body mass. Get out of a car with a cane? 16 rounds into the body. Walk through your own neighborhood with an air-soft gun? TWO cops unload the whole mag and turn a 13 year old kid into hamburger just steps away from his house. I don't want to hear "that one second could cost you your life". Guess what? THAT is what you are paid to do --- risk YOUR life (and it's not always jumping into the creek to save a drunk driver), not to "go home safely every night."
They are EXTREMELY comfortable with taking anyone's life to make sure THEIRS is okay.
I don't know where the concept of "I get to kill you if I'm scared regardless of anything else" came from, but it's getting old.
Here's a bet --- the Gestapo will find that his murder was "justified".
Which should go a long way in explaining the "99% of all shootings are justified" BS the SS tell you.
I'll also bet that if that man's sons found those "deputies" and gunned THEM down, most people would also find THAT "justified". "We, the people" also have our parameters for justice.

How about we wait for some facts. Because whether you like it or not, facts do matter.

I would trust the rancher with his rifle way more than I would trust the cowboy cops with theirs.

The facts didn't seem to matter with the 13 year old kid.
Also labeled "justified".
Nor the drunk college kid ATTACKED by FOUR armed cops AND the attack dog. The kid was nearly BEATEN TO DEATH for SAYING something the Gestapo didn't like. Serving and protecting, I think they call it.
Also "justified".
The "facts" really don't mean much when it comes to a cop murdering someone. Unless you mean "facts" that can be made up, omitted, or falsified.
Don't forget the 60 Minutes footage (taken from a security camera the cop didn't know about, which showed the cop handcuffing a man to a pole in his yard, telling the man's daughter to go back in the house, and when she did, shot the man in the head, point blank. In cold blood.).
The FACT is, LIGHTNING doesn't even kill in 99% of strikes.
There is hardly anything of importance that humans do that can be labeled as having a 99% certainty, but the police want us to believe that THEIR 99% infallibility rate (when it comes to killing citizens) is BELIEVABLE.
The FACT is, it's only believable to THEM.
Damn. Another fact.
