Now that John Boehner's gone, the extremists in his party are going to be even worse.
John Boehner was awful, or as Paul Krugman writes in Monday's column, "a terrible, very bad, no good speaker of the House. Under his leadership, Republicans pursued an unprecedented strategy of scorched-earth obstructionism, which did immense damage to the economy and undermined America’s credibility around the world."
The trouble is, Boehner was merely a symptom of a far worse strain in the Republican party that, with his exit, will be unleashed on us with even fuller fury.

So Boehner was the levee so to speak.
We have Democrat extremists ignoring the rule of law and Constitution ,We need an Extreme Right wing counteract.
Mr. Krugman seems to thing controlling government spending was a bad idea. He wants to spend money we don't have like water.

Good...force the liberal agenda back to the middle.
This guy is obviously a liberal! The problem with the current republican party is the lack of conservatives in the party. If anything the current establishment republicans in office are just as liberal as the Democrats and lack any direction. Too many Rino's A definite house cleaning is in order. They are not listening to the will of the people.
I went to the article and read comments. All I can say is WOW!! Liberals off the hook. Funny how so many liberals feel as they do no wrong. Scary!!
Paul Krugman has always had "issues". No common sense, far, far left.
