Statement from Governor Larry Hogan on the Fourth of July

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today released the following statement:

“As Americans join together this Fourth of July to recognize the birth of our nation and celebrate our liberty, it is important to remember and honor the courageous men and women of the armed forces who continue to sacrifice so much to ensure our country remains free. On behalf of all Marylanders, I thank them, as well as their families, for their commitment and bravery. Maryland has a very special place in the founding and history of our great nation, and I couldn't be prouder to be governor of the Free State. The First Lady and I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.”
