President Obama is daring Republicans to vote on whether or not his executive actions are legal.
Discussing opposition to his executive amnesty orders at an immigration town hall Wednesday, Obama said he would veto the vote because his actions are “the right thing to do”:
“So in the short term, if Mr. McConnell, the leader of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House, John Boehner, want to have a vote on whether what I’m doing is legal or not, they can have that vote. I will veto that vote, because I’m absolutely confident that what we’re doing is the right thing to do.”
“What we’ve done is we’ve expanded my authorities under executive action and prosecutorial discretion as far as we can legally under the existing statute, the existing law."

The irony. If he can legally veto it, is he really breaking any laws? Veto power is well within the letter of the law.
Amusing as ever, Congress.
That's why they need to vote for abolishing his illegal immigration actions and override his veto before funding DHS!
Then attach Keystone to the funding bill - give the president a choice...the legislature would override that veto also!
I wonder if he thinks he can veto an impeachment?

How about we vote on each issue separately? I think more would get done. You want to attach Keystone XL to this and get it vetoed AGAIN?
As Thomas Sowell said recently, 3:32, impeaching Obama would leave us with rioting in the streets and Joe Biden-- neither one a pretty sight.
439, we have rioting in the streets all day long in Chicago and Detroit right now, and to have Joe as president running for re-election in '16 would keep Hillary from it!
Win- win!
I'm with 5:15, let the riots begin. We will finally be able to rid this country of government dependent scum.
There will be NO elections in 2016. Long before that there will be a need to control the public and public activities and the whole country will need Obama to continue to run this country for the sake of keeping the lid from blowing off. This is the plan...this is what is coming.
Why have the Republicans not started an impeachment process yet? I don't understand. Don't we have the ability now?
