Maryland's five casinos generated $84.9 million in revenue in January.
Excluding the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, casino revenue at the state's four other casinos fell last month by $4.41 million, or 6.7 percent, according to the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. But with the Horseshoe, the state's total casino revenue grew 28.3 percent.
The Horseshoe brought in $23.2 million, up from the $22.9 million it generated in December. The South Baltimore casino is still trailing projections that it would average more than $31 million in monthly revenue. Horseshoe's best month so far was November when it generated $23.3 million in revenue.
Maryland Live! Casino, the state's largest gaming venue, generated $49.5 million, an 8 percent decrease from January 2014 when the casino generated $53.7 million.

Don't forget folks, all that money goes to education!
If you believe that you must live in fantasy land.!!!! I remember when the lottery was first in acted. That was to go to education! If this was the case we would have the best schools in the states!!!
It's going. To education. Educating representatives on where to spend it for votes to reassure them staying in office.
