Man Leads Police On Chase-- Convicted of PWID, Trafficking & Gun Charges

DESHAUNE D. DARLING CONVICTED OF DRUG AND GUN CRIMES
On February 5, 2015, Deshaun D. Darling (D.O.B. 2/27/76) of Salisbury, Maryland, was convicted of the following charges by a Wicomico County Jury: Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm with a Nexus to a Drug Trafficking Crime, Transport a Firearm During a Drug Trafficking Crime, Illegal Possession of a Regulated Firearm, Wear, Carry, Transporting a Handgun, Obliterating Serial Number on Firearm, and Wearing or Possessing Bulletproof Body Armor During and in Relation to a Drug Trafficking Crime.
The charges against Darling stem from a traffic stop conducted by the Maryland State Police Gang Task Force on September 4, 2014. As officers approached Darling’s vehicle on a traffic stop, Darling put his car into gear and sped away leading law enforcement officers on a twenty minute pursuit which ended in the parking lot of a Salisbury business. Officers were able to get Darling into custody without incident. At the time of his arrest, Darling was wearing a bullet proof vest. Additionally, Darling had a .40 caliber EAA handgun next to his seat in the vehicle. A search of Darling’s person and vehicle revealed that he possessed 17.5 grams of cocaine, a digital scale, and over $1,600.00 in U.S. Currency. Officers obtained additional evidence against Darling after executing a search warrant on a residence in the county.

Darling will be sentenced once a Pre-Sentence Investigation is completed. The Defendant’s bond has been revoked and he is being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center until sentencing. Darling has been convicted in other jurisdictions for Wear, Carry Conceal Dangerous Weapon (Dorchester County) and Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine and Marijuana (Kent County, Delaware).

Wicomico County State’s Attorney Matthew A. Maciarello commended the Maryland State Police Gang Task Force, the Maryland State Apprehension Team, the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force, the Maryland State Police, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, and the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division for their assistance in the investigation and prosecution of this case.

Wow, $1500 measly bucks and you screw up your life.

I just banked $6,000 this week working 3 days. Less taxes, it's $4,000!, and 2 days off, self employed.

And, BONUS, I don't have to pay a lawyer, have a court date, or go to jail and lose all my worldly possessions to my used to be "friends".

I get to keep it all, work next week, and buy a used truck!

Any questions, kids?
