Bodenweiser Retrial Moved To Kent County

GEORGETOWN — A Delaware Superior Court judge has agreed to move the retrial of former state Senate candidate Eric Bodenweiser to Kent County.

Judge E. Scott Bradley granted defense attorney Joe Hurley’s request to move the trial from Georgetown to Dover saying Bodenweiser may not be able to get a fair trial in Sussex County.

“The trial and the hung jury’s vote received a considerable amount of media coverage. Indeed, a large number of potential jurors in Sussex County are familiar with the case and have already concluded that the defendant is guilty,” Bradley wrote.

Well, since he is guilty, it won't matter what county he's tried in.
