My mother purchased her dog in 2006 from a local pet store here in Salisbury. The dogs Certificate of Pedigree is from Tracy's K&J Kennels which after I researched is no longer in business because they were a puppy mill and were shut down. When I confronted the owner of the pet store he told me that he uses a pet broker and was unaware of where the broker gets his puppies from. I then suggested that he may want to familiarize himself with his broker and where he gets his puppies from since as a local pet store owner it is his reputation. I will only get a dog from the humane society or pet rescue from now on. Shame on them!!
