The homepage, which still has that ubiquitous "Smiling Rick" photo of Mr. Pollitt, also has a "News" section that typically mentions almost everything. But, more than a week after the votes were counted, there's no mention of the result. Why so?
Makes you wonder if there's still an acting public information officer, or if Ms. Lee-Brooks has been "asked" to retrieve Brown-Ulman signs for use in 2018.
Hopefully, there’ll be some changes made real soon now.

FYI- by law (Md Code Election Law § 11-401(c)(1)) the time for transmittal of the election results (i.e. the official results) ". . . shall be made on the second Friday after a primary or general election or, if the canvass is completed after that date, within 48 hours after the completion of the canvass".
So, the County is not late for publishing the results. I suspect the reason is to fully account for all absentee and provisional ballots.
Hope this was helpful.

It's not up to the County to publish the election results. That is the job of the Board of Elections.

There's been no doubt about the outcome since the evening of Nov. 4, and in fact Pollitt conceded then or shortly afterwards. No reason why the County website can't have the election result (with or without the unofficial totals)
I have noticed that the Wicomico County website is lacking in several areas. Does the County employees service the site or is it serviced by a contractor???

So why should they not put it on the website -- it's very important "news" about the County.
