Sex offenders teaming up to run for public office in Minnesota

Sex offenders in a small Minnesota town are trying to get elected into public office, despite not being allowed to visit city hall as they are ruled a danger to society.

The sex offenders are staging a write-in campaign to get elected to city council, and currently make up nearly 20 per cent of voters in Moose Lake, Minnesota.

Hundreds of men are civilly committed at the Moose Lake Sex Offender Treatment Program, as a court has ruled them ‘sexually dangerous’ to society after having served a prison sentence.

O.M.G. This is great. This gives a lot of thought right here in Md. Maybe thousands of sex offenders need to run for office in small towns and get elected with help from other offenders who got all their voting rights restored. Heck nobody hardly votes anyway ..so this may be a walk in the park in some areas..so be on the watch folks it may be time for a change. As the numbers of offenders In some areas are very large and if all offenders and their family members votes for them ..guess what..yep new day coming.

Anyone that questions if they will have success need only to look at the gay community that only entered politics on a united front about 20 years ago or so? Of course the Liberal Democrats will support them pandering to future votes. Yelp, Mom and Pop American Bumpkin are history. We don't unite, we just sit here with our finger in our *** and complain. Our politicians will look out for us, huh? What next pedophiles? Mass murderers?
