don't agree with her "sexual" preference, however I have always said we are Americans, not African American, not European Americans, not Asian Americans. If you are a citizen of America, you are an American. NOTHING ADDED. I refuse to call anyone African American, Asian American, etc. Some of my friends don't like this. get over it.

Well, I just watched this video and I have to say I am extremely proud of this woman.

I personally wish people would recognize, once they become an AMERICAN or they are born in America, they are AMERICAN and I don care what color you are.

That being said, imagine 40 years from now IF everyone simply said they were AMERICAN. The NAACP could go away, not that I have any animosity against the organization but I do feel they WANT a divide and I personally feel that is just plain stupid.

In order for AMERICA to grow, heal and accept, we must stop all this divide.

So again, my hat is tipped to this woman and I only hope millions more will follow her lead where race is concerned.

Oprah almost busted her buttons when she said that.

It's nice to see and hear a little intelligent black exchange of thought, instead of all the typical low brow that mainstream media forces Americans to watch and listen to on tv every day. I'm not an Oprah fan, but her presence on television throughout the years has had a positive effect on all races, in the sense of the majority of the subjects that she chooses to talk about have value, even when I disagree with her position. Some bad white guy examples being Morry Provitch, Phil Donahue, Jerry Springer, all sensationalists/exploiters of human beings, pandering for dollars. Oprah was and is a good thing for Americans but has reached her prime, presently passe! I stopped watching her many years ago. All of the talk media is just reruns of other older talk media that I no longer care about nor listen to.

This girl learned a lot from Bill Cosby. So glad someone finally said what the rest of us have been thinking. You go, Raven!
