Brief Synopsis

On October 5, 2014 at 11:12am, Maryland State Police responded to a single vehicle with an Electric Pole.  A 1997 Oldsmobile driven by Rebecca Marie Bosley (29 year old from Federalsburg, Maryland) collided with Electric Pole, causing a ground fire, burning less than ½ acre of grass.  Driver refused treatment at the scene.  Driver failed Field Sobriety Test  Driver was charged with Driving Under the Influence, Impaired and Negligence.  Driver was arrested and transported to Easton Maryland State Police Barrack where he was released to a sober driver.  All accounts happened in Talbot County Maryland. 

Maryland State Police was assisted by St. Michaels and Easton Fire and EMS, Talbot County Sheriff Department, SHA, and Choptank Electric.  Roadway was closed just under 2 hours.
