Friends Of Wicomico Public Library To Host Zombie Event

The Friends of Wicomico Public Library will host “A Night in the Stacks” Dawn of the Unread on Friday, October 17th from 6:30 – 9 pm at the Downtown Library.

General admission tickets are $15 and will include a live DJ and light show by New Beginnings Productions, thriller dance off, ghoulish grub, a horror cinema room, photo studio, professional monster makeup artist, cash bar & more. Enter the Best Zombie Horde contest and win a gruesome group prize, entry tickets are $20 per group. The event will be emceed by local comic book creators Mathew Shockley, Josh Shockley & James Dufendach of PLB Comics.

Become a V.I.Z (Very Important Zombie) and enjoy the perks of a well-prepped shelter. Accommodations will include 1 ticket to the V.I.Z reception at 6 pm, general admission to the event, 1 commemorative t-shirt, a signature cocktail, hors d’oeuvres catered by Black Diamond, live entertainment from local band The Wilderness & a swag bag. V.I.Z. passes are $50.

Tickets can be purchased at any Wicomico Public Library branch or through online registration. Sponsorships for this event are also still available. Additional event details can be found at anightinthestacks.org.
