Don't drink and drive and you have nothing to worry about.
For those who don't like checkpoints, if a loved one was killed by a DUI driver you wouldn't be against them strange how people change their views when it effects them and their families. I say lock them up if they are DWI/DUI OR impaired.
The job of police is not crime prevention.
Their job begins once a crime has been committed. Not before.
