WAY TO GO DAILY TIMES!!!

"The Wicomico County public schools district was ineffective in accounting for and safeguarding assets, as well as inefficient in its use of financial resources to the point it cost an overage of at least $3 million, according to an audit by the state Office of Legislative Audits"

I see they used our bullet point style presentation as well but no matter, (so far) it is important the rest of the media follow suit on this matter. Time will tell what they say in tomorrow's paper but for right now, my hat is tipped to The Daily Times for presenting this extremely serious matter to the public. That has always been my goal with Salisbury News. We invite you to GO HERE and view their story.

Finally, I was starting to wonder if there was anyone over there. I'll bet you that they will never experience the number of hits - or I should say ricochets off from Salisbury News. The DT has been out hustled.

it's about time. what does not bode well for taxpayers, does not bode well for anyone that lives here or does business here

that's just what the county deserves, they wanted to charge DT for freedom of information requests, this is why our local media needs to keep up on articles like this. from the looks of it there isn't much transparency anywhere.

I see fredrickson eating out, usually with someone in his van (or suv, whatever) all too frequently. Why doesn't he eat at school...or a lunchbox?

Like it or not the DT will reach a lot of people that may not see this blog it will be interesting to see how the story is played. There seems to be some comtempt at the DT over Pollitt not giving up information to the paper. If anyone from the paper is reading this it is time for you to step up to the plate and report the local news in Wicomico County. Keep asking questions.

If the Daily Times would report on what goes on in Salisbury and Wicomico County and not twist it to suit themselves, more people would buy their paper. And I really do mean report what goes on and leave nothing out. These top dogs are elected by the citizens living here and have a right to know what is going on - also everyone has a right to know where there is crime in the city, when it happens, and they do not need to candycoat every article they print. If Mayor, County Executive, Councils do not like what is printed, oh well - do the right thing and have nothing to worry about at all. This underhanded, good ole boy crap needs to stop, like yesterday.

Hey, 5:25, he can eat out all he wants; just don't slide MY card to do it! And, if you go to the County website and look at the budget, you'll see Tricky Ricky has a penchant to slide up to the bar and restaurant more than thrice a month!

Don't expect any better from the Daily Times -- consider what they missed in the recent reports about Laura Mitchell -- nothing about her debts or her husband's record -- and Ronald Pagano (his $1 Million federal tax lien and judgments against him).

The DT is a Democrat house organ.

They can't sell advertising space anymore , gave them something to talk about.

The DT has at least covered this news, they should have started a long time ago. I know the reason has to be that Pollitt wanted to make it so hard for them to get information that this is some revenge on Pollitt. I have yet to hear anything on WMDT or WBOC about this audit. Whose puppet strings are going to break and blow the whistle?
