With a gun pointed at his gut and surrounded by criminals, the sergeant made the decision to fight for his life rather than hope he would not be harmed or, even worse, killed.
He seems to hand something over to the crooks and then proceeded to fumble for money with his left hand while sneakily preparing to draw his firearm with his right.

Yeah, the ever increasing number of Nazi like Police State Cops. They prey on those poor guys who just needed a little money to support their sickness. Where is the compasion of the Police. He should have just gave them some money.
I wish us common folk were allowed to protect ourselves and our families like that, but no, we are a lesser people than leo's... Our lives have no value.
