Is This Amazing, Or What

Happy 50th, Glenn! Beck’s Staff Interrupts His Show to Bring Him the Surprise of His Life

Glenn Beck celebrated his 50th birthday on Monday, and his family and staff made sure he would never forget the day. Though Beck had an entire show planned, he was interrupted after just a few minutes by his radio co-hosts Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere, who took him on a whirlwind trip through history, back to his earliest days.

The biggest surprise may have been the 1958 Chevrolet Apache Beck’s wife, Tania, gave him. But she didn’t ask him to come outside to see it — the group arranged for the truck to be driven right onto the set of Beck’s show, with his family inside.

Publishers Notes: Interesting how even the colors are similar to what I had been thinking about. Now we have to create our Eastern Shore 1957 Chevy even better. This is a tough act to follow!

Those colors are okay for a '58, but not on a '57. 1958 marked a big change in styling for all automobile companies and some of it was not for the better. Please stick with red for your pickup.

Forget red, forget sky blue, or metallic mint green... Forget candy apple red or fire engine red...

Go with a silver color or a silver blur color... I mean make yuor own color up... mix and match be original... DON"T be like the rest of these people who USE EVERYONE ELSES tricks or colors or anything that make all trucks the same...

When you have a few that are always mimicked then where is the originality? thats the problem with people today is they ALWAYS WANT O COPY SOMEONE ELSE OR STEAL THEIR IDEADS...

It looks like that truck will fit Mr Beck to a T. I painted my 58 Apache step side Tropical turquoise, an original 58 color tho maybe not for trucks, mine is 4x4. Good luck on your choice Joe.

I agree with 7:50.Chevrolet especially took a nose dive in 1958.If you'll closely examine a 1958 Chevy pickup you will find quite a few differences.I particularly like the single headlights on the 57 vs the doubles on the 58,but that's just me.The 57 is a better looking truck in my opinion.

If Beck has one, I'd sell it and get a Ford...
