Troopers Seek Public’s Help Locating Delmar Theft Suspect

Date of Occurrence: February, 2013

Suspect: Rodney Bounds, 48, of Delmar, DE (photo below)

Resume: Delmar – Detectives are searching for a Delmar man who stole money through an investment scheme.

Detectives are searching for Rodney Bounds, 48. In February Bounds approached the victim, a 76-year-old Delmar man, and asked the victim to invest in a helicopter business. The victim turned over $5,000. Bounds contacted the victim several months later and received more money for the business.

For the past several months, the victim has been unsuccessfully attempting to contact Bounds. Bounds cannot be located and detectives have been unable to find any sign that the helicopter company was a legitimate business.

If anyone has any information about Bounds’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Troop 4 Financial Crimes Unit at 302-856-5850 extension 257, or by utilizing the Delaware State Police Mobile Crime Tip Application available to download at:http://www.delaware.gov/apps/. He is in Arkansas check out his face book page. He just recently got married again.

Yes he just got married 11/09 and is in Arkansas but isn't a Delmar resident. He was living in Willard's, the Delmar address was from before he went to federal prison for something like $350K. Wonder why his parole officer isn't jumping in to help "find" him when the posters here can find out so much just by googling?
