One fire call on Baker St. Handeled by the unpaid professional firefighters of Salisbury Volunteer Fire Dept. Fire station #2.
anonymous 10:19 and all other Firefighters... We publish what is put out there each day from your own official Website. If something doesn't show up it is because the people in charge of putting this information out there neglected to do so.
Salisbury EMS is what the reality is.
With the majority(all) of the emergency responses being ambulance calls why does the city continue to call that business a fire department instead of Salisbury EMS?
Your so full of it Proud to Serve. Station 2 got smoked by the PAID PROFESSIONALS in their own first due. And only a few blocks away from the firehouse at that. But had it not been for a volunteer "Captain" not holding up getting the engine out because they "don't feel comfortable" pumping the fire apparatus they might have been first on the scene...
Paramedics can do what firefighters do, but firefighters can't do what paramedics do.
A true misconception if I ever heard one. The crew from station was catching a hydrant and bringing their own water supply to the scene. That was the delay.
How about the Naylor Street fire two years ago. Few houses down from station two and duty crew smoked the proud to serve for free into their own first due.
Proud to Serve you just keep telling yourself that story. Radio communications and on scene photographs tell a different story.
