A Letter To The Editor: Tokyo Steak House

Joe, if you have City Water and Sewer then why do you need A.S.A.P. pumping sewer or whatever through your back door? Happening right now in Salisbury. I wonder if this is something the Health Department needs to know about?

Probably pumping a grease trap. You know, to keep grease out of the city water supply.... normal for restaurant.

It is a restaurant they get clogged drains. They also have to have things pumped out. Even their grease traps need to be cleaned once in a while.

It's called a grease trap. Keeps the oil and grease out of the public waste water treatment system saving the tax payers. Thousands of dollers.

Grease trap service? Seems perfectly normal to me, what's your point?

Umm please tell this person that by city law you have to get your grease trap pumped at least once very three months if not very 30 days witch hunt over !

A.S.A.P. are crooks. They have charged me for pumping my septic system out when I just recently found learned they have not been doing the job correctly and only been pumping 1/4 of the tank. After I confronted them, they apologized and ofered to come back and complete the job. I said no and I was only going to pay 1/4 of the agreed amount or we can take this to court; they agreed. I now usea another company who has done the job completely. If you use A.S.A.P. make sure to be there when they do the job or have someone be there for you.

Mr. Albero I hope you post this so people will know to keep a watchfull eye on ALL Service Companies.

TO Anon 5:09 a/k/a 1 Mad Old Lady:

Hats off to you! And you are spot on re ASAP. At least once they didnt bother pumping both chambers of our tank because they were too incompetent or lazy to open the second chamber. They also said my drain field was failing. That was like 7 years ago. Septic system fine.

That is a sewer pumping trump and all you could smell was sewer. Since when did a sewer pumping company start pumping grease traps. I they dumping the grease in the same place they dump there sewer? Isn't that against the law?

I think what many are missing here is the volume of vehicles like this at the north end of Salisbury. There's clearly a problem with the lift stations at the north end. Last weekend there was an issue at the Mall. There was also a situation at WalMart where they too had to have their system pumped out, all in one week.

Never ever forget that ASAP are thieves. Don't forget they stole fuel and supplies from Wicomico County. They need to be shut down by people never using their services.

I agree with you Joe with the clear smell of sewer all in the North Corridor it was obviously sewer and not grease traps. By the way ASAP is under contract with the city. He was used during the storms that flooded the streets down town a couple of months ago when the lift stations failed on Fitzwater Street.

Whoever put ASAP under contract at the city must be crazy. Ray Lewis stole from Wicomico County and never paid the total price. Why don't people let this guy fail instead of continuing to use his services.

Anonymous said...

So let me get this right......If I repeatedly steal from the county the city will award me a contract to service their needs????? Disgraceful, but really not to surprising for this area!

There you go speculating again Albero. I just hope before I die, you get what you deserve.

They pump half or less because that saves them money at the place that takes the waste. So they charge you 200 and usaully cost 100 per 1000 gallons to dump therefore they make more money pumping less from your tank....and they are thieves....everyone knows that....its bs....when are we going to stop letting people rip us off.....

What was the story with Wi Middle? It seems the sewer system is collapsing around us.

To all the people defending Ray Lewis saying he was pumping out grease traps. Prove to me that it is legal to run the same unsanitary poop scoop hoses into a dining area and kitchen? Please prove that it is sanitary for these ecoli carrying hoses to be anywhere near food.

I am sure they were sanitized, ha ha ha. You make a very valid point! As they dragged it thru the dining room and into the ??????

1231, please learn Google and find out how grease traps and septic systems work together to filter waste water before sending it to the WWTP. Kitchen waste goes to a grease trap, or a septic tank like box designed to float out and solidify the grease and oil that messes up the WWTP. Then it goes into the toilet flush line and into the river every rainstorm.
Grease builds up, and needs to be removed once in a while by a total thief who has stolen from you in the past, and according to previous posts, is continuing the practice, or and honest business alternative, to keep the system working.

Any other questions?

You partly explained the situation. Again I can't believe they are certified grease trap pumpers. By the way I invented Google.

The health department could care less.I quit reporting restaurant issues.
