We saw that this morning and wondered what in the world was going on. Many police cars with the taping of the area.
I heard a call on the scanner around 7am for an assault on Old Ocean City Road. I don't know if it is the same address or not.
Some on facebook are saying that there was a rape there. Possibly a child. They are looking for a black male that is on the run. Like I said this is what I saw on facebook. Take it for what it is worth.
well if you check the address of the robber from Vintage you may see he lived on Old Ocean City Road. Probably connected.

Oh Dear God-Please don't let what 10:13 saw be true. And if true please cause the fleeing suspect to trip and fall and break his neck.

What is on fb is often times more reliable than lamestream media.
Joe about 20 minutes after you posted this I have seen 2 different reports from the 2 local news stations. One says it was a burglary and that the suspect is no threat to the public. The other says there was a sexual assault and the victim is at the hospital.
I looked on the Wicomico Sheriff's facebook page and nothing has been posted. If there is a suspect on the run why have they not alerted the public about this.
If the rumors on facebook are true and this is about a child the sheriffs department should make the public aware of this immediately. Especially after what happened to little Sarah Foxwell.

I AGREE! If the news stations can update the public on facebook about a threat the police agencies can do the same thing.

The idiot that robbed vintage liquors was arrested Tue after a high speed chase...
Not true they would not tell anybody about a rate especially with a child. only if the child was abducted
