This Just In

Jim Beau is sending out emails begging for money and lying about what he has done.

Dear Friend, I wanted you to know that I’d like to be our Mayor again! Thanks for your support in the past, I will need it now more than ever! Please donate to the campaign, so we can keep our progress going in Salisbury. $25, $50, $100, or $250... whatever you can help with.

(The maximum donation to a municipal campaign is $250)

“When was the last time a politician could look you in the eye and tell you he did exactly what he promised when he ran for office? Well, I can and I’m proud of it. I'm proud of the coalitions I've built in making Salisbury a great place to do business, an exciting place to visit, and a safer place to live. Salisbury has $16 Million in surplus and I haven’t raised property taxes as mayor. We have torn down blighted houses as well as the Thrift Travel Inn and Linens of the Week.

I am looking forward to talking to citizens about how our city has significantly lowered crime rates, how we have created the first Wicomico River Watershed Plan, and how we have partnered with so many businesses and groups in the continued revitalization of our neighborhoods and our downtown.

Salisbury has made great strides by saying "YES" to so many partnerships with those who want our city to succeed and I am excited to ask our citizens to let me continue to lead on important issues. For all the times other elected officials have said "NO" to our citizens, I have said "YES" to moving Salisbury forward.” Jim!

Highlights of Mayor Ireton's First Term:

• Abandoned barges removed from the North Prong of Wicomico River

• Trash collection systems installed on many river outfall pipes

• 40% reduction in violent crime rates over 4 years, and 20% drop over the last decade

• Thrift Travel Inn and Linens of the Week blight torn down

• $16 Million dollars in city surplus funds

• City Audit done at the earliest in history

• 270 page Downtown Revitalization plan introduced

• Bateman/Onley Road Construction

• Tenants Bill of Rights is law

• Wastewater Treatment Plant lawsuit settled

• Salisbury named an All-America City

Thank you, everyone, for your support!

-Jim

By Authority: W. Sue Piper, Treasurer

And the fish jumped clean over the boat. Jim is in trouble with me, not because of anything he did not do, because he aligned himself with O'Malley and Obama.

What a crock.

But done NOTHING to move Salisbury foward like more pro-business programs. So the city taxpayers take the burden. Its easy to put time in and let things happen. It takes someone with vision to make things happen.

I wonder if you could get access to all the email addresses he sent this to and send them the real information.

Jim Ireton will not get my vote, so he won't get a dollar from me either.

This reminds me of the crap obammy used to send out too. A few of liarton's claims are outright lies. The rest are either exaggerations or of little importance.

Of course he doesn't have much to show for 4 years (part time?) so he throws everything in with the kitchen sink.

Obammy beat the odds and got re-elected. Let's not make the same mistake in Salisbury.

Look, IF you want the same thing you've had here in Salisbury for the past 16 years, BY ALL MEANS, vote for Jim Ireton. It really is that simple.

There is absolutely NO reason this campaign should turn nasty. If you like parking tickets, if you like the way your roads are, if you do not believe there are serious infrastructure problems in Salisbury, if you believe the Police Department is properly funded with equipment, if your happy with a double or triple INCREASE in your sewer rates, if you like the Fire Boat, the list goes on and on, vote for Jim Ireton.

Joe Albero brings a whole NEW Vision and Leadership. Heck, even Jim likes my ideas, hence his starting to finally do some of the things I have suggested already.

The MSM is proving they are rigging an election. Every article calls me a BLOGGER, like that's a curse word. This Blogger has personally done more physically for this community than all of them combined.

They don't want to discuss my Corporate years as a manufacturer. They did the research. Heck, the Daily Times used my products in their Darkroom years before they ever knew who I was. I had the most revolutionary product in the world at the height of the Graphic Arts and Printing Industry.

Yeah, I'm a Blogger, or as Jim Ireton likes to say, a "Gossip Delaware Blogger". Funny Jim, the name of my Blog is Salisbury News and always has been, hmmmm.

This Blogger went from NOTHING to becoming the biggest source of news and information on the entire Eastern Shore.

Interesting fact here, he is not using the same person that was his treasurer in the past.

Funny how Ireton takes credit for things he didn't do. Somehow he forgot to mentioned his 'accomplishments' in certain bars and establishments on Delmarva, but sooner or later the truth will be known.

You are absolutely correct.

Does anybody really care about this 3 dollar bill?

He stole that so called $16 million surplus from the city employees and the tax payers. Give it back.
