It’s like one of those industrial revolution tales of orphaned siblings being split up and sent off to live with different sets of parents. Except this is about snack cakes and incredibly white sandwich bread, so it’s even more heartbreaking.

Twinkies & Wonder Bread To Likely End Up With Different Parents Following Hostess Collapse
As potential buyers line up to pick the sweet, slightly artificial-tasting bones of Hostess, it appears more and more likely that the company’s snacks will end up under new ownership that doesn’t include Hostess’ bread brands.

Wal-Mart would be a shoe in to cherry pick select lines.Distribution would change very little, but Sam's Club and Wal Mart would carry the bulk of the product.McDonalds also might consider adding the ex Hostess products to their line, but only if Hostess will relinquish the specific name brand rights. The only way McDonalds would market each product would be with a "Mc" prefacing each cake, like "McTwinkie".The golden arches may miss a golden opportunity by passing up on this one.
GIMME A TWINKIE AND NOBODY GETS HURT!!!

The golden arches need to get up to speed on healthier food choices.
Get a stroke eating a big mac and finish it off with a heart attack from a twinkie.
Coffee, mcdouble(for a buck), and sometimes french fries is what I buy at mcdonalds. And not too frequently at that.
