TAKOMA PARK, Md. - She's a progressive state delegate who has partnered on legislation with a Tea Party Republican. She used to work as a registered federal lobbyist. And she co-owns an organic medicinal herb farm.
It seems fair to say that Maryland has never had a candidate for governor quite like Del. Heather Mizeur, D-Takoma Park.
And if she decides to run and wins, she would be the first openly gay candidate elected to governor in American history.

The blantant mistake in the headline is reminiscence of something we see in the Daily Times. No wonder MSM is falling flat.

No tea party candidate could ever win the election. The extreme right wing views may fly on this side of the bay, but no chance off the island.
Sorry, 10:36, but I'm with 10:11! Isn't the feminine of "Gay" a Lesbian anyway? Or is a gay lesbian straight? Maybe a Democrat Tea Party Republican makes her a Libertarian?
Does she even know what she believes in?
