Two Juveniles Charged In Burglaries, Laurel

Defendants, Charges, and Bail Information:
 
  • 16 year old male from Laurel, DE
  • Burglary 2nd (2 counts)
  • Theft of a Firearm
  • Conspiracy 2nd
  • Theft under $1,500.00 (2 counts)
  • Criminal Mischief
 
Arraigned at JP3 and committed to Stevenson House on $9,500.00 secured bail.

  • Theft under $1,500.00 (2 counts)

Arraigned at JP3 and released to parents.
 
Resume:
Laurel, DE- The Delaware State Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with a burglary to the same house twice.
 
The incidents occurred during the evenings hours of October 20th and 21st when the suspects entered a residence located on the 35000 block of Moss Lane in Scottsdale Mobile Home Park.  The two juveniles forced their way into the residence through a rear window and once inside, they removed a shotgun, ammunition, a knife, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency.
 
Troopers were able to track down the two suspects, who lived in the park, through information obtained from the park manager.  Troopers then contacted the parents of the teens and located all of the items that were stolen from the victim in the homes of the suspects.  The juveniles were taken into custody and charged with two counts of Burglary 2nd, Theft of a Firearm, Conspiracy 2nd, Theft, and Criminal Mischief.  The 16 year old teen was committed to Stevenson House in Milford on $9,500.00 secured bail.  The 17 year old teen was released to the custody of his parents.
