The UN Calls For Aggressive Internet Censorship

Well it’s all out in the open now folks.  These guys aren’t even trying to hide their true intentions anymore.  The power structure is so concerned that the internet is allowing people access to alternative news the calls for censorship are getting louder.  From CNET:
The United Nations is calling for more surveillance of Internet users, saying it would help to investigate and prosecute terrorists.
A 148-page report (PDF) released today titled “The Use of the Internet for Terrorist Purposes” warns that terrorists are using social networks and other sharing sites including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Dropbox, to spread “propaganda.”
“Potential terrorists use advanced communications technology often involving the Internet to reach a worldwide audience with relative anonymity and at a low cost,” said Yury Fedotov, executive director of the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

It's time for the U.S to part ways with these terrorist nation supporters. That would be a nice start to fixing the budget.

Agreed. I use the internet to gain valuable information that I need because the mass media is so busy feeding me propaganda. I think we need to kiss the UN goodbye and keep our Sovereignty. Leave the internet a freely open place. If I can't see it all, then there's no need to look.
