Traffic and safety concerns combined with bad weather led to the cancellation of the second day of a two-day obstacle-course race in Frederick.
City officials say the Tough Mudder event attracted up to 20,000 participants and spectators on Saturday.
Police say the volume of traffic, lack of adequate parking and severe weather created unsafe conditions.
