Good News: Wind Turbines Supposedly Making People Sick

Proponents of wind turbines say that this is all incidental and coincidental. Enough so that there is actually a medical condition name for it

(UK Daily Mail) It was Uplawmoor’s tranquility and wild beauty that drew civil servant Aileen Jackson to settle there 28 years ago.

She’d had enough of life in the big city. Now she wanted somewhere quiet and rural to start a family, keep her horses, and enjoy the magnificent views down the valley and out to sea to the western Scottish isles of Arran and Ailsa Craig.

Then, two years ago, she says, it all turned sour.

A neighbour with whom she and her family had been friends decided to take advantage of the massive public subsidies for ‘renewable’ energy.

He put up a 64ft-high wind turbine which, though on his own land, stood just 300 yards from the Jackson family’s home.

The sleepless nights caused by its humming were only the start of their problems. Far worse was the impact on their health.

Aileen, a diabetic since the age of 19, found her blood glucose levels rocketing – forcing her to take more insulin and causing her to develop a cataract, she says.

Her younger son, Brian, an outgoing, happy, academically enthusiastic young man, suddenly became a depressive, stopped seeing his friends and dropped out of his studies at college.

It's called "I'm faking it" Syndrome. Is anyone really surprised that these people will fake sickness just because they don't like the wind turbine.

vawt wind turbines are the way to go. The old fashioned ones are not very efficient for most folks and very hard to maintain.

how about I put a pig farm in next door to your house and let you smell it all day? Who cares about your quality of life? Or maybe I put in a diesel generator to run my house and let you listen to that all night. Or maybe I just rent the house next to you to a bunch of college kids and let them party all night long. How about drug dealers with cars coming and going all day and night. Think that would effect your quality of life just a little bit?

First of all, most all nights are dead calm, so we can just put the sleepless nights to, well, maybe 5% of the year. Then, Brian, who was away at college and out of earshot of the windmill and on campus received no ill effects of the windmill. But dropped out anyway.

So tell me, how are the dogs and cats on the farm? Oh, no mention, they must be fine.

More propoganda from who?

THINK, people! Think about this crap that's being shoved down your throats!

There is enough reasoning to justify that windmills are not a 24-7 solution and neither is solar. Windmills do kill birds, but they kill 25x more when put offshore, and the maintenance is unaffordable.
Do your math, kids!

do your homework folks. there are stories all over the internet regarding windmills. they do make an annoying humming sound 24/7 and Many people living nearby these windmills have been negatively affected. remember, your Can't get away from this constant humming.

birds are killed in large numbers, so for you bird lovers this isn't good for you.

lastly, the windmill projects have to be subsidized by the government aka you and me. get it? they Don't save anyone anything.

windmills = stupid idea whose time has Not come.
